Headway North Staffordshire offers a Confidential Counselling Service

About Jill, Headway North Staffs Counsellor

‘I started working on placement for the counselling service at Headway North Staffordshire, in July 2021, when I was a trainee Psychotherapeutic Counsellor at Staffordshire University. I initially worked at Headway on a Thursday for my placement, as I also had a second placement with the NHS Staff Support and Counselling Service. Then, once I fully qualified as a Counsellor in June 2022, I started to work at Headway from September.’

I would like to say that without the counselling provided by Headway I wouldn’t be where I am today. Headway offered me a chance to talk freely and explore how a brain injury suffered by my husband affected myself and my children. These sessions were literally invaluable and I couldn’t recommend them enough.
