Volunteering

Our Volunteers are an invaluable support to the work within Headway House. They come from all walks of life and bring a variety of skills and experience. We are always in need of people who are willing to give their time and join our team. Above all, we are looking for people who can communicate and empathise with our service users.

Donations

A one-off gift of money or regular payments are very welcome.

Please make donations online through our JustGiving page.

Fundraising

If you would like to organise a fundraising event for Headway North Staffs, please contact us; we will be very keen to help you.

You can easily set up a fundraising page linked to our JustGiving account, it’s very simple and all of your sponsors or donors can give online. Just follow the link and then click the big orange “Start Fundraising” button.

Potto Lotto

You can now support us though the Potto Lotto, a local lottery where we can receive 50% of each ticket bought.

Just click on the Potto Lotto logo to start.

Tickets cost from £1 per ticket per week and you can easily opt in or out at any time.

Legacies

After providing for your loved ones, a final bequest or legacy can have tremendous significance and greatly help us to continue supporting families in North Staffordshire who have been affected by head injury.

Gifts in Kind

We are strongly committed to boosting our funds by our own fundraising efforts.

One method of doing this is our ongoing table-top sale. We sell good quality bric-a-brac and clothes which have been kindly donated to us and we welcome any usable new items.

As well as items to sell, we also welcome donations of the following:

  • Games, books and jigsaws for use by our service users
  • Foodstuffs for our kitchens, especially from local food retailers
  • Activity items and equipment
  • IT equipment (but please note that computers must be clean, fully functional, and able to run Microsoft Windows 11 Pro)
