Every 90 seconds, someone in the UK sustains a brain injury.
In just moments, a life can change forever.
At Headway North Staffordshire, we provide vital rehabilitation and support to adults living with acquired brain injury across Staffordshire.
Today, we urgently need your help.
Two vital services are at risk of closing.
Our Speech and Language Therapy and Counselling services will close at the end of October 2026 unless we can raise £44,000.
This funding will keep both services going for 12 months and provide:
🗣️ 384 Speech and Language Therapy sessions
💙 240 Counselling sessions
These are much more than appointments they are 624 real opportunities to change someone’s life
Imagine having something important to say but struggling to find the words.
Imagine needing someone to listen but not knowing how to ask for help.
Our Speech and Language Therapy service helps people communicate, regain confidence and feel heard. Our Counselling service provides a safe space to work through difficult experiences, rebuild confidence and move forward.
That is why we have launched our “Let Their Voices Be Heard” campaign.
We recently spoke to BBC Radio Stoke about the campaign and the urgent need to protect these services.

Please help us reach £44,000.
Every donation, no matter the size, can help us keep these vital services open.
Please donate if you can — and share our campaign with your friends, family, colleagues and networks.
Let Their Voices Be Heard – JustGiving
We would also love to hear from local businesses and organisations that could support us through corporate donations, sponsorship, fundraising, volunteering or partnerships.
Once we reach our £44,000 target, additional donations will continue to support the wider range of vital rehabilitation and support services provided by Headway North Staffordshire.
Behind every session is a person who deserves to be heard, supported and given the opportunity to rebuild their life.
Thank you for listening, sharing and supporting us.
Together, we can make a difference.
Let their voices be heard.
