We would like to thank the family of Barry Panter for their tremendous support in raising funds for HNS.
Councillor Barry Panter was chosen as the Mayor of Newcastle under Lyme for 2024 to 2025. He kindly selected HNS as one of his charities for the year, with monies raised during his time in office going to HNS.
Sadly, Barry passed in February of 2025 after being involved in a road traffic accident. Barry spent a lifetime in public service, being an RAF veteran, an ex-police officer and in his retirement getting involved in local politics as ward councillor in Newcastle under Lyme.
Despite this tragedy, his wife Beatrice, family and friends continued to fundraise and donated £4,473 to HNS in his memory. We would like to offer our heartfelt condolences and thanks.
