Headway North Staffs would like to say a huge thank you to the North Mitchell Trust Fund which is administrated by the Minerva Lodge of the Masons, based in Shelton, Stoke on Trent.
A client and staff attended an awards ceremony on 16th November 2024 to receive a cheque, and later to listen to a fascinating talk about the history and the work of the Masons from their beginnings in medieval times to the present.
The Masons have a long tradition of supporting charitable work in their communities and they work across the world. We are very grateful that the Minerva Lodge decided to include us in their distribution of grants to groups across North Staffordshire:
- Stoke Spitfires Basketball Club.
- Apedale Heritage Centre.
- City Farm, Stoke on Trent.
- Keele Community First Responders.
- Staffordshire Sight Loss Association.
They, like us, will put the money donated to good use
