Our therapy service provides high quality, specialist neurological rehabilitation to adults who have experienced an acquired brain injury. We put you at the centre of decision making so that the programme we create together is best for you.

Our therapy provision meets national quality standards set out by the British Society of Rehabilitation of Medicine (BSRM) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). This means that you can have confidence in us.

What you can expect

Working in partnership with Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust, we offer service users individualised rehabilitation.

  • An initial assessment and goal setting with a registered healthcare professional (occupation therapist or physiotherapist)
  • Follow up sessions with the therapy team who will guide you through your rehabilitation programme.
  • A twelve-week review to assess your progress.

We will:

  • Work with you, your relatives and carers to support your yourney following an acquired brain injury and continue with your specialist neurological rehabilitation.
  • Discuss goals that you would like to achieve and review these at regular time  intervals to suit your rehabilitation needs.
  • The therapy team will  work with you to implement a personalised rehabilitation programme.

We offer a range of therapy groups throughout the year:

  • Exercise.
  • Fatigue management.
  • Sleep hygiene.
  • Healty eating.
  • Managing emotional changes.
