Below are the words of a poem written for Remembrance Day by our service user
Carole Foster…
Never forget what we need to remember
Every year in the 11th November
Victorious in battle, but many lives lost
In the cold light of day, such a terrible cost
Just two minutes we are asked to silently reflect
Honouring those killed with our deepest respect
We wear poppies with great pride
A salute to all those who have died
But, do we know just what the poppy reveals
The blood that was spilled on those “killing Fields “
So never forget, always remember
To commemorate our heroes on the 11th November
Well done to Carole who is a very talented lady when it comes to words.
